Rose Flower Crown

Theres no point in letting your beautiful roses from Valentine's Day go to waste. So we thought we'd make a fun & simple diy on how to make a flower crown from your old roses, we don't like things to go to waste around here!

1.) You will need:
Scissors ( to cut the stems)
Wire Cutters ( to cut the floral wire )
Floral Wire
Old/New Roses
(we picked up some wax flowers to add contrast, they are only $3.99 at your local Trader Joes.)

2.) First step is to cut all the roses stems off, only leaving a small amount of stem left to put the wire through & trim the wax flowers.
3.) Wrap some of the floral wire around your head & then double it & cut some off, you will be wrapping the wax flower so it holds, if theres extra wire at the end you can always just cut it off.

As you can see, you will just stick the wire threw the stub of the rose stem. Then afterwards you will add wax flower by wrapping the wire around the stem of the wax flower.  ( if the wax flower stems are to long, you can trim them at the end.)

4.) You have completed the flower crown! Its very simple & fun for a vintage bridal shoot, festivals, concerts or a special occasion. Have fun with it!
